Letting Go of The Fear of Judgement as a Digital Entrepreneur

What do successful people like Oprah Winfrey, Paul McCartney and Tom Cruise all have in common?

Apart from huge followings and lots of money in the bank, they’re always being JUDGED. And as you read their names, I bet you made unconscious judgements about them as well. In fact, I’m sure you’ve already made some judgements today about yourself and other people.

But don’t worry, they’ve already judged you too based on what clothes you’re wearing or what food you’re eating!

😱 That’s because it’s human nature for us to judge people. It’s unavoidable. It’s a survival trait.

So let me ask you a question…

Do you hold back on creating new content because of your own fear of being judged? Maybe you think you’re too old, too young, too ugly, too pretty, or lack experience? Or maybe you’re worried people won’t like you, or that you’re not worthy enough or even good enough?

If you do worry about this fear of being judged, I have a harsh lesson for you…

🥵 You better get over it

When you’re only concerned about what other people think of you, you’re not thinking about who you want to help and who you’re here to serve.

And that’s being selfish.

REALISE THIS: People will always judge you NO MATTER WHAT you do. Even if you do write the PERFECT article or shoot the GREATEST video, you’ll be judged.

Elvis has been dead (allegedly 😉) for 45 years and he’s STILL being judged in comments on YouTube videos.

So ask yourself this question…

Would you prefer to hold onto those beliefs about being judged which ultimately means you don’t get what you really want from life?

✅ Here are a couple of tips which have helped me get over the fear of being judged:

👉 Start to focus on those who need your help. Your product. Your service.

Shift more to a place of service instead of worrying about what others think of you.

This is not about you being liked or being popular. It’s about helping and serving JUST ONE person and making an impact on their lives.

👉 Is someone else’s judgement of YOU really more important than doing the thing you’re scared of — the thing that could finally unlock your goals and dreams?

Or put another way…

If the BENEFIT of letting go of this fear of judgement is GREATER than the consequence of holding onto this belief, then you should begin to let it go.

Hopefully, this article helps one of you to go and do something today you’ve put off because of a fear of being judged.
